Highscore Calculation:

The game itself doesn't explain score calculation in too much detail. In each level, a player earns score for each enemy block destroyed. The game awards score based on the cost (in coins) of each destroyed block, times a score multiplier based on the game's difficulty settings. Then, the game applies a time penalty, where half of the resulting score will be divided by the number of seconds spent in the level divided by fifteen. So, level_score = (cost(destroyed_opponent_blocks) x score_multiplier) - 0.5 x (cost(destroyed_opponent_blocks) / max(1, level_seconds / 15)). Destroying a block by plundering grants the player a little extra score; cost(block) * 1.5. Upon defeating the storm king, before applying the time penalty, the game adds an additional 300,000 to the current level score, and grants the player additional score based on eight times the number of unused coins (so, if you ended the game with 10,000 unused coins, you would be granted up to 80,000 in additional score).
